vrijdag 21 juli 2023

LEEUWARDEN – Technology is of great importance in all spheres of human life. In the automotive industry, technology is the basis for the quality and functionality of cars. The technical characteristics, performance, reliability, safety, driveability and even driving comfort depend on them.

The top 5 leading countries in terms of producing the most technologically advanced cars in the world

  1. The Tesla Model S is the most famous high-tech Tesla Model S in the U.S. and the most famous.
  2. Germany and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
  3. Japan and its Lexus LS.
  4. Netherlands and the first solar-powered car, the Lightyear One.
  5. South Korea and Hyundai I Oniq 5.

U.S.

Tesla Model S

The United States is the country with the highest consumption of automotive products. Americans strive to simplify their lives in everything, and nothing helps in this as much as modern technologies. Therefore, in the production of motor vehicles, American car companies pay great attention to the development and implementation of various electronic and technical innovations.

The most high-tech American car, which is ahead of European and Asian competitors in terms of the number of implemented technologies – Tesla Model S. It is a luxury electric sedan, which is compared to a spaceship with a steering wheel instead of a steering wheel. It accelerates to 100 km/h in just 2 seconds, and already in 9, 23 sec can accelerate to 250 km/h. Given that it is a full electric car, its power exceeds any car on the internal combustion engine. The on-board computer of Tesla Model S has a huge screen with high resolution and supports any modern games.

There are 12 ultrasonic sensors around the perimeter of the car, which help in controlling and autopiloting the car. To list the entire range of electronic features and technologies of the Tesla Model S, it would be necessary to write a separate article.

Germany

Mercedes-Benz S-ClassGermany is the birthplace of the automobile. From the moment the first car was created to the present day, it remains among the leaders of the global automobile industry. And this is largely due to the fact that German car companies pay great attention to the development and implementation of various technical innovations in the production of cars.

The most technologically advanced German car today, as well as 10, 20, 30 years ago, is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Mercedes invests 12 million dollars in research and technical development every day to ensure that the cars of this brand are always the first in the world in terms of technology.

With the Mercedes-Benz S-Class flagship sedan, the automotive industry has gained a lot of innovative technology:

  • ABS system;
  • airbags and seatbelt pretensioners;
  • turbo-diesel engine;
  • traction control system;
  • ESP stability control system;
  • parking sensors;
  • voice control;
  • xenon headlights;
  • adaptive cruise control;
  • engine cylinder deactivation system;
  • anti-collision system;
  • night vision system;
  • ventilated seats, etc.

Japan

Lexus LSThe value and uniqueness of Japanese cars is not understood only by those who have never seen Japanese cars and tried them in business. It was in Japan that a lot of high-tech developments appeared, which are successfully used by automakers all over the world. Everything that was not invented in Japan, in turn, was further developed and perfected there.

The country has always been a leader in automotive inventions. These are just a few of the things that Japanese engineers have invented:

  • the world’s first SUV;
  • the first front-wheel-drive car;
  • the first car with four-wheel symmetrical drive;
  • touch screen;
  • navigation system;
  • robotized gearbox.

When it comes to the most technologically advanced Japanese car, it’s unequivocally the Lexus LS. This premium sedan is all about innovation:

  • the latest safety technologies that intelligently and technically complement the driver’s skills and enhance driving safety;
  • an intelligent interface that is maximally customized for human interaction with the vehicle.

The Lexus LS ranks highest in sales in the United States and Western Europe, along with the German Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Netherlands

Lightyear OneThe Netherlands is a leader in the development and implementation of environmentally friendly technologies in the automotive industry. For example, in 2017, students at the Eindhoven University of Technology created the world’s first biodegradable car (made from a flax-based composite material).  And in 2019, Lightyear partnered with the Dutch Solar Team to create the Lightyear One, a solar-powered car that can be charged by energy from the sun. The batteries fit very subtly into the concept and design of the car, giving it a special alien charm.

Innovative technologies have maximized energy savings and maintained high safety standards while using lightweight materials in production.

If you’re looking for tech cars, use a car auction in the Netherlands, where you’ll find many options for electric, hybrid cars, and if you’re lucky, the unique Lightyear One.

South Korea

Hyundai I Oniq 5South Korea’s automotive industry has a unique history. It has gone from the handmade handmade assembly of the first cars in a garage from old American military vehicles to the production of technologically advanced models of vehicles that compete with the world leaders of the automotive industry. Until a certain time, Korean brands borrowed more than 50% of technologies from Japanese automobile companies. Today Korean cars are packed with digital technologies and unique technical developments. One of the latest achievements of South Korea is the creation of an autonomous off-road driving system.

The most technologically advanced Korean car is Hyundai I Oniq 5. This car implements the idea of “smart” space that can adapt to the driver and passengers, uses autonomous safety systems, intelligent technologies that allow you to be in touch at any time and a lot of electronic assistants that make driving as easy and comfortable as possible.
